I come from Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and in 1985, I joined New York Life as an agent. During my tenure there I became a member of the NYL Chairman’s Council, representing the top 1% of all agents.
Thirteen years later I formed RCD and Associates, a full-service insurance and planning firm, that I joined with The Meltzer Group in 2008.
Actively Supporting the Community
Rich is proud to be on the Board of Directors of George Washington University, and to be an active supporter of advisors business school, sports, and alumni. The GW School of Business board of advisors is an advisory board that provides counsel to the school’s dean and is composed of alumni, friends of the university, and parents of current and former GWSB students. The board has three committees which together seek to advocate the goals of the School of Business to the university, GW alumni, and the greater academic and financial community.
Rich is a Decorated Member of the Lido Club of Washington D.C. It is a recognition of individuals by the government of Italy and is an honor bestowed on a few individuals. A number of Lido Club members have been nominated for various degrees of recognition for their work in support of Italian/Americans in the United States, in preserving Italian culture and in support of various charitable causes which directly impacted Italians both in the United States and Italy.
He is also a regular participant in the annual Moxie Awards, serving on the review panel for nominants, and an active supporter to the small to medium sized business community.
